Mittens for the Family
I live in new England, where a good pair of mittens is of great value in winter. Because they are so small and knit up quickly, mittens make an excellent project for new knitters to experiment on. Knit some for yourself and make some for others - mittens make excellent gifts.
This is a master pattern and numbers are given to make mittens in sizes from toddlers to large adults in a range of gauges from 4 sts/inch to 8 sts/inch.
