MMABO Mitt
A super simple free fingerless mitt pattern, designed to showcase MMABO (an easy, stretchy new crocheted bind off for knitted projects.)
MMABO Mitts beg to be customised: you can replace the stockinette with another stitch pattern, or keep the stockinette and embellish to your heart’s content.
Use any yarn you like, with the appropriate size needles. You will also need a crochet hook slightly smaller than, or the same size as, your needles.
Perfect for a quick Christmas gift, or to highlight that small skein of special hand-dyed yarn sitting in your stash!

Regarding MMABO (the bind off): Worked with a crochet hook, it’s ridiculously quick, comfortably stretchy, and very straightforward. No need to move stitches back and forth between needles - once a stitch moves off the needle it stays off! If you struggle with tight bind offs, or are a less-than-expert knitter who’s more comfortable with a crochet hook (like me), this is the bind off for you!
