Easy Crochet Pattern for Cute little Tassel fringe baby moccasins. Lovely gender neutral style - perfect for boys and for girls!

Inspired by Native American baby shoes and traditional Navajo design, these little shoes will be a lovely family heirloom to keep as a momento of baby’s early years - you could hang these on the Christmas tree each year as a lovely momento of baby’s early days.

Instructions given for three sizes: -
Size 1: 3-6 months -3.9” (10cms)
Size 2: 6-9 months – 4 ¼” (11cms)
Size 3: 9-12 months 4 ¾” (12cms)
For Size 0-3 months 3 ½”(9cms) - follow instructions for Size 1 using DK yarn and a 3mm hook.

Requires Worsted Yarn and a 3.5mm (E/4) crochet hook.
NOTE! You’ll need to use wool yarn or natural fibers - Acrylic yarn will not give best results in the fringe.

The pattern comprises a fully comprehensive photo tutorial (with more than 50 photos!) and is suitable for practiced beginners familiar with basic crochet stitches and pattern terminology.

To follow this pattern you need to be able to do the following stitches -
chain stitch - ch.
slip stitch - sl st.
single crochet - sc.
double crochet - dc.
half-double crochet - hdc.
- basic increases and decreases of these stitches.

There is some very simple stitching involved, but don’t worry if you’re not experienced at sewing! This tutorial guides you through the process step-by-step, with lots of color photos to guide you through the process. The stitching details are done with sport or fingering yarn (UK 4ply) - you’ll need approx 4 or 5 meters of each color.
