Mochila bags seem to be the hot new trend. Now you can make your own Mochila bag.

The bag will be 27 cm/10.6 inch high and the diameter is approx. 18 cm/ 7.1 inch. The strap is 4.5 cm/1.78 inch wide and 125 cm/ 49 inch long (or as long as you want). This is a medium sized Mochila bag.

This bag is made with the same technique used for Mochila bags. You have to crochet this pillow with two or three colors at the same time and with the ‘yarn under’ technique. The pattern is available in English with English and American crochet terms and in Dutch!

Level: intermediate (if you don’t know this technique then it is a difficult pattern)

The stitches that are used are:
American: Single Crochet (yarn under and only the back loops), Magic Ring and Slipstitch (Hook C2 = 2.5 mm hook)
English: Double Crochet (yarn under and only the back loops), Slipstitch and Magic Ring (Hook 12 = 2.5 mm hook)
Dutch: Vaste, Halve Vaste and Magische Ring (Hook 2,5 mm)
Used yarn: 4 ply / sport:
100 grams red cotton yarn (=250 meters/273 yds), 150 grams black cotton yarn (=375 meters/409 yds)
and approx 50 grams white cotton yarn (=125 meters/136 yds).
