From 1985 Edition
“If you’ve always wanted to make a beautiful fisherman knit afghan, but were afraid to tackle all those elaborate cable stitches, this is the project for you! The pattern is an easy mock cable with only four rows, which works up quickly on Size 11 needles. To handle the large number of stitches, a circular needle is used. A rich fringe provides the finishing touch.”
