Hi! This pattern is a lot of fun and the texture is super flattering. You will crochet a basic rectangle and seam to make the arm openings. There are video tutorials and picture tutorials to help you along.

The blanket sweater does need blocked as the open mesh is larger than the moss stitch portion of the pattern.
