The hat is crocheted in one rectangular piece whose cast-on and off edges are then sewn together. The band is crocheted in the one side edge and the hat is formed sewing the other side edge and pulling tight. A 10cm diameter pompon made with the same yarn used for the hat band is added in the end.

The pattern contains instructions for 2 sizes: 48 - 52 (54 - 60) in circumference requiring 100 g of Woolly Hugs Plan in colour 89 Türkis-Grau and 50 g Woolly Hugs Sheep in colour 98 Anthrazit.
