We love this super clever cabled hat with a lovely fluffy pompom on top! Knitted in the round, the cables use knit and purl stitches to create a gorgeous textured finish - it’s fun to knit and you will be thrilled with the results! You’ll need two balls of Paintbox Simply Aran per hat, or you could switch it up and use Paintbox Wool Mix Aran to make it even cosier!

• US 8 (5mm) circular or double-pointed knitting needles
• 1 cable needle
• 1 stitch marker
• 1 medium pom pom maker
• Scissors
• Large eyed needle

GAUGE (TENSION)
18 sts and 24 rounds to a 4 in/10cm square worked in stockinette
(stocking) stitch on US 8 (5mm) needles.
