Modern Unagi is a rectangular dishcloth constructed with simple garter intarsia, simple increase and decrease stitches and a pattern of knit / purl stitches. It comes with written instruction and knitting chart. The whole piece uses three pieces of yarn from start to finish with no yarn breaking and only six yarn tails to weave in.

This pattern is basically written for three colours but feel free to add more colour yarns (e.g. to frame the main piece with a different colour, use two different colours for the knit / purl pattern). It all depends on your imagination and creativity.

Sizing could be obtained by using larger needles (approximately 1” increase with size 5.00 mm / US 8)

Difficulty level is at easy and suitable for advance beginner and above.

The whole project will take about two to four hours to complete.
