Modesta is a versatile wrap that is worked side-to-side as a
rectangle, at a point is divided to shape an opening for the neckline and finally ends up as the other side of the rectangle; as always, a surprise element is included.
Due to its minimal shaping it can be worn by almost everyone; nevertheless, instructions are given on how to customize it to your taste.
Since it is meant to be knit during the busiest time of the year, I made sure that stitch patterns (both openwork and ribbing) are easy to memorize and carefully distinguished. This should be a knit to keep your hands busy while watching those favorite Season’s movies; it is meant to keep you relaxed and let you enjoy your knitting as much as possible.
The result is a wrap that can be worn as a poncho or even a neck-warmer or just simply wrapped around your torso to keep you warm and cozy during this winter!
The MKAL starts on Xmas Eve, December 24th and ends a month later. Clue #1 will be released on December 24 and Clue #2 will be released on December 31.
