Moit-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The pattern has instructions for both normal and folded brim, knit either one.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 201 m (220 yds) per 100 g in two colours, 40 (45) 50 of MC and 25 (30) 35g of CC. The sample (size L) was knitted with Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 Heathers, (100% Wool, 201 m/ 220 yds per 100 g) in colourways 9404 Ruby (MC) and 2441 River Rock (CC) and used 45 g of MC and 35 g of CC.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.5 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

22 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches stockinette stitch with larger needles after blocking.
