Pattern Description from the free staff projects in Interweave Knits, Summer 2006: “Molly Dodd, a chef at Ceres Bakery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, showed me the headband that she had knitted for herself just as I was trying to think up a way to use our lace pattern. The headband’s long rectangular shape is perfect for a panel of lace; a single repeat fits neatly down the center. I added a little row of eyelets along the edges for a pretty border. The headband begins and ends with a short length of I-cord for ties.”
