Monroe Shawl
This Checkerboard pattern always reminds me of the windows in a NY apartment building. The holes are worked using my DropStitch Openwork technique which allows you to make columns for openings in your knitted fabric without breaking the yarn. Three different stitches create an interesting depth to the fabric.
This pattern includes 3 different widths and lengths for a shawl, scarf and long skinny scarf and includes photos for support in learning the DropStitch Openwork technique!
