I designed this hat for 56 cm (22 inch) head circumference. You can adjust the size by using smaller/bigger needles than what the pattern calls for and using less/more yarn threads at the same time. Or knitting with less/more stitches and less/more rounds. Beanies which have only ribbing on them are great because their stretch quite a lot.
