Hi Folks!
Thanks for checking out the Monument Shawl! This large, symmetrical shawl is a relaxing knit composed primarily of garter ridges and simple ribbing that combine to create a playful, yet elegant garment. Designed with The Blue Brick yarn, this pattern is a great opportunity to show off those complimentary tonal skeins or even that gradient skein you’ve probably been saving for something special. It makes a perfect, heavy winter shawl or a light and versatile autumn/spring scarf. It knits up fast and is a perfect project to work on while multi-tasking. I hope you like it!

--78 in (198 cm) in length along top edge

Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Reach out! I’ll do my best to respond back as quickly as I can. If I don’t get back to you right away, please forgive me! I probably have my nose buried in a book for grad school.
Also, I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Shireen from The Blue Brick for providing the amazing yarn and capturing some truly incredible shots of the shawl! And also Kathryn for your technical editing expertise!
P.S. This pattern was originally made available through Shireen’s website, where you can still find kits (including the pattern). Her yarn is PERFECT for this shawl. I highly recommend!
