Moodstone is a striking mosaic scarf that blends graphic texture with subtle color transitions. The elongated trapezoid shape is knit from tip to tip with continuous I-cord edging.
Moodstone’s mosaic stitch pattern creates a rhythmic, woven effect that feels intricate but is surprisingly approachable. Working one color per row, Because only one color is worked per row, the fabric builds quickly while forming bold geometric columns that shift gracefully across the length of the scarf.
Moodstone is designed to showcase the beauty of color-changing yarn, adding depth and movement to the repeating motif. The elongated shape makes it easy to style and wearable in many ways.
This project is beginner-friendly and ideal for knitters who enjoy engaging texture and graphic colorwork without the complexity of stranded knitting.
The pattern includes fully written and charted instructions, along with modification options allowing knitters to adjust sizing or maximize yardage.
