DESCRIPTION

MOONLESS is a cool color-blocked summer day dream of a tank, designed for play in both the knitting and the wearing. With deep armholes and wide shoulders, Moonless features a boxy, sporty silhouette that is equally well-matched with your favorite cut-offs or layered over a linen sundress. The pattern includes 9 sizes, options for cropped or full length, and yarn requirements and instructions for making a 1- or 2-color version.

SIZING

All of my garment patterns are #sizeinclusive to fit up to at least a 60”/150cm full bust circumference.

FINISHED BUST/CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE:
In inches: (36, 40, 44) [48, 52, 56] {60, 64, 68}
In centimeters: (90, 100, 110) [120, 130, 140] {150, 160, 170}

To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your chest and choose a size that fits with 4-6”/10-15cm of positive ease.

In the photos, Jaq is wearing a size 7 (60”/150cm) with 6”/15cm of positive ease at the chest.

GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows over 4”/10cm in stockinette after blocking
Recommended needles: US 4 (3.5mm) 32”/80cm circular
Notions: stitch markers, darning needle, one set of spare circular needles several sizes smaller than main needles

YARN

This tank was designed in Purl Soho Field Linen (295 yards/269 meters/100g), a fingering weight 100% linen with a stiff hand while knitting that develops into a soft, drapey fabric once washed.

YARN REQUIREMENTS:
 
2-Color crop:
2 YARNS (same amount for each): (235, 255, 280) [300, 320, 350] {370, 390, 410} yards / (215, 235, 255) [275, 295, 320] {340, 355, 375} meters
 
2-Color full length:
2 YARNS (same amount for each): (325, 360, 390) [420, 455, 490] {520, 555, 585} yards / (295, 330, 355) [385, 415, 450] {475, 505, 535} meters
 
 
1-Color crop:
SINGLE YARN: (470, 510, 560) [600, 640, 700] {740, 780, 820} yards / (430, 470, 510) [550, 590, 640] {680, 710, 750} meters
 
1-Color full length:
SINGLE YARN: (650, 720, 780) [840, 910, 980] {1,040, 1,110, 1,170} yards / (590, 660, 710) [770, 830, 900] {950, 1,010, 1070} meters
