Note
moor is a boxy pullover worked from the top down. The front and back are worked separately at first, then joined at the underarm to be worked in the round down to the hem. Sleeves sts are picked up around the arm opening and worked in the round to the cuff. The pullover can be worn WS out. Enjoy different faces of fabric.

Merlino is a wool yarn blended with linen.
The linen fibre on the dark colour looks like a beautiful glimmer of lights.
Moor, as the name suggests, has nuances of light and dark green that makes it look like dry and wet grass. I love the gradation of this colour and the shaded effect it creates in the zigzag pattern.

In general, I like things that have a little playfulness in them.
I have made some similar patterns in the past and this one can also be worn on both sides / reversible. All you need to do is to be a little more careful when you weave ends. That is all. There is no big difference in how the zigzag pattern shows on the right and wrong side but the side seams look slightly different.

Depending on the style you would like, you can choose to have or not have sleeves.
I would love to try wearing it with a pair of denim jeans and loafers in the fall for a traditional look.

Note
moor はトップダウンで編むボックス型セーターです. 各身頃は往復で脇下まで編み, そこから身頃を繋いで輪で裾まで編みます. 袖は袖開きから拾い目をして, 袖口まで輪編みします. このセーターは両面で着用することも可能です. 両面のそれぞれのステッチの表情を楽しんでください.

Merlinoはウールにリネンをブレンドした糸です。
濃い色の中にちらちらと見える白いリネンの繊維が好きです。
パターン名のMoorは色名からそのままいただきました。Moor (荒野)その名の通り、乾いた草と湿った草のようなニュアンスのある色です。この手染めのゆらぎのある色や、ジグザグ模様でできる陰影の効果が気に入っています。

わたしはちょっとした遊び心のあるものが好きです。
過去にも似たようなパターンをいくつか作ったことがありますが、今回のものもまた、リバーシブルになっています。 裏側を表として着るために必要なのは、端を編むときに少し気をつけること。それだけです。ジグザグ模様の見え方は左右で大きな違いはありませんが、サイドの縫い目の見え方が少し違います。

お好みのスタイルに合わせて、袖の有無を選んで、そして今日はどちらの面を上にしようかなと楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。
