There was something about the mood — effortless, feminine, slightly mysterious — that I wanted to capture in stitches.

Knitted mostly seamlessly from the top down, Moorberry features a European shoulder construction that offers both structure and fluidity. The intuitive shaping and modern silhouette make it an enjoyable knit for a wide range of skill levels. The fabric is brought to life with a luxurious pairing: the smooth bounce of Laine x Novita 4ply wool held together with the airy lightness of Novita Edith silk mohair. The result is a piece that feels as good as it looks: soft, light and full of quiet confidence. Yarn 1: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3)  (3, 3, 4, 4)  skeins of Laine x Novita 4ply by Novita (70% Falkland Wool, 15% Bluefaced Leicester, 15% Bluefaced Kerry Hill, 437 yds / 400  m – 100 g), colourway: 7821 Deep Burgundy.

Alternatively, you can use approx. 650 (750, 840, 975, 1065) (1180, 1245, 1370, 1515) yds / 595 (685, 770, 895, 975) (1080, 1140, 1255, 1385) m of any similar fingering-weight yarn with comparable yardage.

Yarn 2: 3 (3, 4, 4, 5)  (5, 5, 6, 7) balls of Edith by Novita (70% mohair, 30% silk, 229 yds / 210 m – 25 g), colourway: 7851 Feelings.

Alternatively, you can use approx. 595 (685, 770, 895, 975) (1080, 1140, 1255, 1385) yds / 545 (625, 705, 815, 890) (990, 1045, 1150, 1265) m of any similar lace-weight yarn with comparable yardage.
