A fun, quick knit! Knit in two different directions for visual interest, along with a moose-hoof-shaped cable design. Lacy embellishment at the base of the mitt is followed up by a couple rows of seed stitch to match the top of the cuff.

The hand portion is knit back and forth, then seamed. It is knitter’s choice how far down to seam for thumb placement. Changing size is easy with this design - if it’s for you, size as you go and stop when you reach the point that works for your unique hand. The pattern as-is would fit as a women’s medium.

This fingerless mitt is intended to be worn during that awkward between time of winter and spring - a light, delicate mitt for comfort, with the alpaca yarn to cut the chill. Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light is highly recommended, but any light sportweight yarn should make a nice substitute.
