The Morgan Hat is a simple, fashionable, and ultra-quick knit. The craggy fabric consists of garter-stitch bands broken up by simple cables; the rugged texture is framed by a thick garter-stitch brim and an adorable furry pom-pom. This hat uses only one skein of Tahki Yarns Montana.

Difficulty Easy

Finished Size 20” circumference and 9” tall.

Yarn Tahki Stacy Charles Montana (100% pure new wool; 130 yd/3.5 oz): #013 charcoal, 1 skein.

Needles Sizes 11 (8 mm) and 13 (9 mm): 16” circular. Size 13 (9 mm): set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker; cable needle; tapestry needle; String NYC fox fur pom-pom in #3195 silver; sewing thread.

Gauge 12 sts and 14 rnds = 4” in charted patt on larger needle.
