MORNING BEAUTIFUL COWL

The Morning Beautiful Cowl has been designed to raise money for research into cures for Myeloma. All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go to MyelomaUK to aid their research. Registered Charity no. SC026116 www.myeloma.org.uk. This pattern builds on the idea Rach had last year for the Morning Beautiful Sock. The same stitch pattern is used but this time forms a cluster of Star Stitches throughout the design.

Yarn Requirements: 100g 230m DK weight yarn
The sample is knit using yarn specially dyed in a MyelomaUK orange by Botanical Yarn – this yarn will be available from BotanicalYarn.com and a donation will also be made for every skein sold
Needles: 4.00 mm 22” circular needle, larger needle for bind off
Notions: 4 stitch markers, spare needle for 3-needle bind off, tapestry needle
Gauge: 22 sts and 36 rows for 10 cm/4” over lace pattern after blocking; while gauge is not so important for this pattern getting a different gauge could mean that you use more yarn or don’t get the same drape in your finished item
Measurements: after blocking, front depth: 40 cm, width at widest point: 37 cm
