Yarn O-Wool Chunky Merino (100% certified organic Merino; 166 yd 152 m/3½ oz 100 g): Frost Grape, 2 skeins.

Needles Size 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook; waste yarn for provisional CO and to be used as a st holder; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.

NOTES

  • This cowl is worked back and forth from end to end. Its provisional cast-on is grafted to the cowl’s ending stitches to form a seamless tube. Keep the cast-on stitches on the waste-yarn chain until all stitches have been grafted.
  • When counting stitches, count each slipped stitch with its companion yarn-over as one stitch. When counting rows, each visible row counts as two rows worked of Brioche stitch.
