Someone said the motifs of this blanket look like jewels and all these «crazy» colors always remember me of those Moroccan markets. So this fellow got the name «Moroccan Jewels».

Blanket combines motifs with stripes forming a curious pattern.

I love mosaic motifs cause I found a way of doing them caring yarn along the rounds. So not to many ends to sew in. Stripes ends are hidden in a double border. So no ends again to sew in.

I used sport yarn from my stash combining vibrant colors with a dark grey that makes them pop even more.

Pattern uses overlay mosaic technique and is written in english (US terms) and has more than 150 pictures and explanations for all crochet small techniques used. Also has a stitch guide and charts with patterns and pieces assembling.

With a sport yarn and a 3 mm hook, blanket measures approximately 35” x 49” (88 cm x 124 cm). All information in page 2 of the pdf file.
