Mosaic Chullo Style Hat Recipe
Make a unique chullo style hat! This pattern recipe has multiple options for earflaps and crown shaping along with 12 charted mosaic stitch patterns. Mosaic knitting and all of the charts can be worked in garter stitch or stockinette stitch for even more options. Mix and match to create your own chullo style hat. Earflap begins with a mini 5 stitch I-cord. Pattern also includes instructions for making the cupped or tiered tassels.
Using the Mosaic knitting technique, you work with just one color per round. It’s an easy technique for color work! Choose two colors of yarn with lots of contrast for best results.
When purchasing this pattern, you will receive two PDFs. Be sure to download both PDFs. One contains the written instructions for the hat, the second PDF has multiple mosaic charts for creating your own chullo style hat.
