a fun and quick to make little Christmas star ornament pattern that comes in 4 variations so it’s very versatile!

Yarn:

cotton yarn that suits hook no 2,5 or 3 mm.
You will need at least two colors and each star only requires a very small amount of yarn, so it’s ideal to use some cotton scraps if you have them!

Crochet hook:

no. 2,5 or 3 mm, or one that suits your yarn.

Size:

Each star measures approximately 7-9 cm (3”-3.5 “) in diameter, depending on the yarn you use and the version you make.

Other supplies:

Fabric stiffener, rust free pins and a blocking tile.

General instructions

Each star is crocheted in the round from the center and outward. At the end of each round you connect with a slip stitch.

There are four versions of the Mosaic Stars available in this pattern. The first two have six rounds and the other two are a playoff of the first one and only have five rounds each.
