Inspired by the mosaic tiles at London’s V&A Museum, this lightweight wrap uses decreasing on four sides to make a small mitred square worked in stockinette stitch. Subsequent squares are picked up from the edges of their neighbours. The wrap is finished with a garter stitch border with a picot cast-off.

Yardage: 1 ball of each of two colors. Shown in colorways #3 (Dark Grape) and #1 (Bronze).

One square motif is 7cm x 7cm after blocking
