Moth Orchid Shawl
Discontinued.

This elann pattern will be retired at the end of February 2021 - No pattern support will be available going forward.
The Phalaena flower resembles a moth in flight, and for this reason is also known as a Moth Orchid. This triangular shawl is worked top-down in two mirror-imaged sections. The Blueberry Lace motif is from Nancy Bush’s Knitted Lace of Estonia (p.137), and the shawl is finished with 2 repeats of the Luna Moth border. Five-stitch nupps were added between two yarnovers, giving the finished shawl an Estonian lace effect. (Elann.com)
