Hook Size: H for Bernat Super Value, I for Hobby Lobby I love This Yarn, or size needed for specified gauge.

Gauge: Not necessarily pertinent for this project. Using other yarn weights / types is suitable for this pattern as long as the correct hook size suggested by the yarn manufacturer is used.
