Motley Entrelac Blanket
Bring out your inner jester with an eye-catching combination of contrasting brilliance. Entrelac is one of those techniques that is far easier to work than the impressive result suggests, and that goes double for this two colour version, which only works one colour at a time. Use all your favourite colours all at once to make the best of this fun and interesting skill.
The Motley Entrelac Blanket is knit flat in entrelac with two colours. An applied i-cord edging is used to bind off and finish the provisional cast on, with stitches picked up along selvedges.
This knitting pattern includes detailed written instructions.

Substitution Notes
Look for a Bulky weight yarn meant to knit up at 3-3.75 sts = 1” (2.5 cm) on 6-8mm (US 10-11) needles. The original is a sturdy, yet soft, 3-ply yarn that mimics handspun. Look for a yarn with easy care instructions. Superwash, wool blends, cottons and acrylics would all suit this project.
Techniques
Provisional crochet cast on, increases/decreases, entrelac, picking up stitches, applied i-cord.
