ABOUT
This hat is the third pattern in the Mountain Winter Set of patterns, created for the Winter Solstice Collection from Explorer Knits + Fibers. This hat is designed to use one skein of yarn. The hat is worked from the top down, starting at the crown and increasing. The pattern includes 3 sizes, and the fabric created is very stretchy.
Note: the mittens in the last photo are Mountain Mittens & the Cowl is Mountain Cowl
SIZES
Size 1 | Head Circumference 20 inches / 50cm
Size 2 | Head Circumference 22 inches / 56cm
Size 3 | Head Circumference 24 inches / 61
The fabric is very stretchy and the hat should fit with negative ease.
YARN REQUIREMENTS
Your yardage will depend on gauge, below are suggested ranges
Size 1: 220 yards / 201 meters
Size 2: 260 yards / 237 meters
Size 3: 300 yards / 274 meters

Circular needles of length 80cm / 32 inches (for magic loop) or preferred small circumference needles
