These colorful mitts are designed to pair with my Mountain Hopper Hat pattern. They have a long cuff for extra warmth, and are intended to be worn with a bit of slouch. The model is wearing the size M mitts with about 1.25” (3 cm) of positive ease at the palm (not including the thumb) and 1.5” (3.5 cm) of positive ease at the wrist. If you prefer a more fitted mitt, select a size that more closely matches the measurements of your wist and palm.

If you choose to make the hat and mitts in mYak Tibetan Cloud you will have enough yarn to make the entire set with one skein per color.

If you’d like to experiment with color before you begin, the last page of the pattern contains line drawings of the mitts which you may color in with colored pencils or crayons.

Finished Measurements: 7.25 [8.75, 10]” (18 [22, 25.5] cm) at palm not including the thumb.
