The gentle shaping around the face flatters the wearer and covers the forehead. This mouse has been worked in grey, but there is no reason why you couldn’t make it a golden field mouse or white mouse. For a quirky touch, add a tuft of grey yarn between the ears and a satin bow, or place an eye patch across one eye.

The eyes are work using short rows.

Yarn:
2 balls of grey
1 ball of pink
Short lengths of tapestry wool or scraps of yarn; white; brown.

The main part of the hat is worked with two strands of yarn worked together.

The alpaca fibre in the yarn helps to stop the lower edge from curling.
