The Mr Bridgerton Shawl was inspired by the Colin Sock design from our Bridgerton Season 2 collection. It is a two-skein crescent shawl in Jo’s classic style. The shawl is created by knitting from tip to tip so you never have too many stitches on your needle. The main body of the shawl is in a broken rib pattern with the Colin swirl design in a border along the edge.

Information
Size: 203.5 cm/80 inch wingspan/ 40.5 cm/16 inch depth

Yarn: 850 m 4-ply sock yarn (Please check the yardage on your skeins. A third skein maybe required.)
Sample was knit in Botanical Yarn merino nylon 4ply sock (75% SW Merino/25% Nylon) 100g/425m (464yds) in a OOAK colour way.

Needles: 3.0 mm / US 2.5 (or size needed to get gauge)

Gauge: 28 sts & 42 rows = 10 cm / 4 inch in broken rib stitch (Row 1: (k2, p2) repeat to end. Row 2: p to end.)
Note: because of the way the shawl is constructed row gauge is as important as stitch gauge. If you don’t get the same gauge as me, you might require more yarn.

Notions: stitch markers, cable needle and tapestry needle
