Mrs. Chicken designed by Vicki Square
Vicki’s son Alex once had the pleasure of caring for a small flock of chickens. One of the pretties was a black and white Wyandotte. Quite a character, she would come up to the sliding glass door, peck it hard, and then sidle up to the glass to see if Alex would come let her in. Of course he would! He would slide the glass door open, and she would hop in like she’d come for tea. She particularly liked the view from the back of the sofa, where she often fluttered up to take her perch. Alex dubbed his little friend Mrs. Chicken, and Vicki’s design is an homage to her. Suitable for ages 8 and up without pins.
