Mrs Honeysett
Description
The site is a-buzzing this month with the arrival of Mrs Honeysett, a Cumbrian bee-keeping badger, and her happy swarm of bees. Wearing a veiled hat to protect her from accidental stings, she is holding a wild rose as a nectar-rich treat for her tame bee. You can buy the tulle netting used for the veil from any fabric shop that sells bridal fabrics, but if you prefer to omit it then that is fine, although Mrs Honeysett may not thank you if one of her bees decides to get too close for comfort!
