Mrs. Smith's Hat
This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The rim is worked in single corrugated rib stitch pattern. Then the colorwork chart is worked, followed by swirling decreases on the crown.
If your row gauge does not match that of the pattern, make sure you do the math to figure out how long your hat will be after you work a swatch. That way if you need to make it shorter, just knit a shorter rim.
