A simple pair of mitts, with a single strand of cable meandering across the back like a river.

Sizes range from 10 year old to men’s M/L, or hand circumferences from 16 cm to 23 cm.

The pattern can easily be adjusted to your preferred cuff length, from just the 6 row garter stitch cuff to however long you want it to be. Though if you want elbow length mitts, you might have to figure out your own stitch count and decrease pattern as the pattern won’t stretch enough to accommodate the increased circumference of the arm.

Yarn requirements will vary depending on the size and cuff length you are making. The red ones in teen size used about 85 m of yarn, the largest size made by one of my test knitters used about 190 m.
