Mudo means migration in Welsh. This design is inspired by the migration patterns of the songbirds of my arctic home that leave when winter comes.

Mudo is a very easy colourwork socks and is a matching design for mudo hat and mudo jumper. It is perfect for knitters who are looking to learn to knit socks and try colourwork.

They are knitted top-down and in the round, featuring a stranded colourwork motif throughout. The heels are knitted using the afterthought heel technique. You can choose to “mismatch” your socks as shown in the photos or knit two identical socks. It includes sizes for children, teens and adults.
