This quick and fun knit uses two strands of jumper weight Shetland wool held together to make a warm and cosy headband, perfect for wearing with your hair up or just to cover your ears. Shown in two different colourways, you can lots of shades for different effects: one colourway is a more traditionally shaded effect whereas in the other I have used less shades for a more striking effect. I used a slightly different grey for the middle three rows in the grey colourway but the effect is very subtle so can be easily left out. Have fun trying different combinations!

Finished measurements: 19.5 inches/48cm

To fit head size: 23 inches/58cm

ERRATA: Gauge listed in the annual is incorrect, it should read 24 stitches and 24 rows over 4 inches. The cast on amount also doesn’t work for k2, p2 so adjust your cast on number if this bothers you or there will be two lots of k2 together at the cast on. The PDF is correct.
