The Multiverse of Stitches is a fun and competitive pattern that lets you change color, stitches, and techniques on and off. Last year, I created the Fika pattern, which was so loved due to the use of these small, different stitch parts. But Fika was designed to be a smaller, runner type of project. And so, I came up with a larger version and a project with more different stitches and parts. A real multiverse of stitches! Go wild on color use or combinations!

General information about the pattern:

Use of yarn in this pattern: I have used Scheepjes Terrazzo yarns in this pattern. This yarn comes in balls of 50 grams with a length of 175 meters. The yarn comprises 70% recycled, mules-free wool and 30% recycled viscose—a sustainable yarn with a tweed look. For the original version, I used two primary colors, White and Dark Grey, in combination with some other colors.

Color A (white): Color number 745 Pergamena – 230 grams (805 meters)

Color B (dark grey): Color number 742 Pietra – 225 grams (788 meters)

Color C: Color number 716 Mogano – 75 grams (265 meters)
Color D: Color number 715 Mandarino – 70 grams (245 meters)
Color E : Color number 748 Cioccolata – 70 grams (245 meters)
Color F : Color number 746 Sabbia – 60 grams (210 meters)
Color G: Color number 739 Oceano – 75 grams ( 265 meters)
Color H: Color number 733 Zaffino – 75 grams (265 meters)
Color I: Color number 738 Lago – 75 grams (265 meters)

You need somewhere between 3300-3400 meters of yarn for this blanket.

Hook size used: A 4.0mm crochet hook is used in all the pattern parts for both Terrazzo versions. A 5.0mm crochet hook is used for the border.

Size: The measurement of the blanket will be 45 inches x 30 inches. (120 cm x 75cm)

Height can be obtained by adding more parts. Width isn’t easy as there is no golden number of repetitive stitches. Doubling up the stitches for more width is an option.

The pattern is built up out of regular crochet stitches.

The pattern holds clear, written instructions guided by charts for each Part. In total, there are 13 different stitch Parts. There are no step-by-step photos or videos of this pattern available.

The pattern is available in Dutch and English (US). After purchase, you can download a digital PDF file in both available languages.
