These cosy socks are the perfect winter warmers - worked in a snuggly wool and mohair blend, they are warm and will wear beautifully. The simple cable wave undulates over the garter stitch panels creating a gorgeous texture.

Black Isle Yarns Killen (4 ply; 80% Bluefaced Leicester, 20% Mohair; 320m/350yd per 100g ball)
Shade: Sage (dyed with avocado); 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) x 100g skein

2.5mm / US 1.5 needles suitable for working a small circumference in the round
1 stitch marker (2 optional extra stitch markers for gusset decreases)

Always use the needle size that enables you to match the specified gauge.
32 sts and 44 rnds over 10cm / 4in of stocking stitch worked in the rnd and blocked, using 2.5mm / US 1.5 needles.

The length can be adjusted by knitting shorter or longer cuff, or by adding / omitting leg panels.

Worked from the top down these socks feature a re-enforced heel flap and rounded heel turn and toe. They are easy to adjust and sized for the whole family.
