Murasaki Infinity Scarf
This Project might look complicated, but is actually quite easy once you get going. The lace pattern is evocative of delicate fans. The beads are very subtle and add just a touch of elegance, but are totally optional, so feel free to omit them if you like. Alternatively, if you like your beads more glitzy feel free to use 6/0 beads in gold, which would look very dramatic.
-You can make your piece larger around and deeper if you have more yarn. To make it larger around add additional stitches to your cast-on in increments of 28 stitches. To make it deeper add additional 15-row chart repeats.
-If the Moebius cast-on is not for you feel free to make yourself a scarf/cowl using a cable cast-on with 224 stitches, on a 32 inch circular needle. Join in the round being careful not to twist the stitches. Place a marker and begin directions at “knit one round.” You will be repeating the chart 16 times per round instead of 32, and can work the pattern repeat 6 times in total rather than 3.
