Mushu
Discover the magic of crochet with this detailed PDF pattern for creating a charming mythical creature – a whimsical crochet dragon inspired by the beloved Mushu from Disney Mulan! Perfect for advanced crocheters, this amigurumi pattern guides you step-by-step through making an adorable dragon approximately 30 cm (11.8 inches) tall without the tail, or 45 cm (17.7 inches) with the tail straight.
This downloadable crochet tutorial is ideal for those ready to take on a more complex project. While the pattern is designed for experienced crafters The hardest part is assembling the parts and placing the wires inside, but with the detailed guidance provided, you’ll craft a stunning mythical creature that’s full of character and charm.
Key features include:
- Clear, step-by-step instructions for each part
- Guidance on wiring for poseability (the pattern is giving you step by step instructions on how to do the wires)
- Tips for assembling and finishing your crochet dragon
- Suitable for advanced crocheters looking for a fun, rewarding project
Materials needed - For my projects I use yarn which meterage is 174 yards (159 meters) for 50 g, weight Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), Gauge 24 to 30 st is 4 inches (10 cm) and D hook (3,25 mm). I also used a wire (2 mm with black cover) but if you are making this for a child I strongly recommending to skip wiring or use a pipe cleaners instead.. Once completed, your crochet dragon will make a delightful toy, a unique gift, or a striking display piece.
