This cowl is the perfect way to use up one skein of luxury yarn. It’s more of a recipe than a pattern; so you can use the instructions to adapt to any kind of yarn you’d like to use.

The cowl is an evolution of my Escarpment Cowl. It begins as a top-down triangular shawl, and is joined in the round when it’s long enough to go around your neck. A few easy stitch variations keep it interesting and a ribbed edge keeps it from curling. The increases at the sides stop when you join in the round, making for a differently shaped necking compared to the Escarpment Cowl.
