The Musquée de Provence Shawl is one of the Best Patterns in 2018 by I Like Knitting Magazine.

Named after the classic orange pumpkin, the Musquée de Provence Shawl is knit from top to bottom, starting with a garter tab cast on. Yarn over increases border the edges and frame the spine of this triangular shawl as it grows. Multiple textures accentuate color changes through the shawl, including garter, stockinette, seed and ribbing stitches. Optional tassels are added to each corner of the shawl for a modern, fashionable look.

Size: 66” long by 32” deep.

Gauge: 16 sts x 16 rows = 4” in Garter Stitch.

Yarn: Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton (100% Cotton; 186 yards 170 meters/100 grams 3.53 ounces) in 6 colors, 1 ball each: Charcoal (C1), Silver (C2), Ecru (C3), Taupe (C4), Cafe Au Lait (C5), Camel (C6), or 1116 yards of any worsted weight yarn to match gauge.
Yarn Size: Medium

Needles: US size #10 (3.25mm) 32” circulars, or any size necessary to obtain gauge.

Other Materials: Stitch markers (4), darning needle.
