This crescent shawl is designed to show off your favorite Sock Set in a super wearable little shawlette! Garter stitch at a looser gauge shows off the beautiful yarn of your choosing! I wanted a way to wear these skeins together, without needing another skein of yarn, and Must Love Garter was born. Garter stitch is one of my favorite stitches, it’s so squishy and cozy. I-cord edges keep this shawlette neat and tidy, just the way I like my shawls. Grab a 100g skein and a 20g mini that go together and create your own beautiful shawlette to show off your favorite colors or dyers!
As written, the pattern uses the two suggested skeins in their entirety. ANY changes to size or gauge will result in differing yardage requirements, and any increases of the final size will require additional skeins.
This pattern was intentionally designed to use up a full sock set of fingering weight yarn, or a 100g skein and a 20g skein or leftovers, and to fit comfortably under a jacket or a hoodie when worn as a scarf.
For results that look the most similar to the sample, use the suggested yarn or a merino-based fingering weight yarn.
