Mutuality – The Sharing Of A Feeling, Action Or Relationship between Two or More Parties
I love the play of two gradients next to each other, each one gives added depth to it’s partner and the color play is magical. This shawl is a simple triangular design, worked from the center neck down and is complete when you run out of yarn! It is worked in our Superwash Shaniko Worsted but you can go with any gauge – with of course modifications in needle size and yardage as needed.

When picking colors it’s most effective to choose gradients that might have the same feel but have a contrasting color sequence. Here we’ve used Canyon with Silk Road, two of my favorite colors. I have another in the works in a completely different palette of Rosewood and Pt. Reyes. I think it would be hard to pick a combo that didn’t work.

Skills needed are knit, purl, yarn over and yarn around needle (or use a backwards loop instead). This is a good pattern for a beginner with some experience, but is also engaging enough for a more advanced knitter.
