In a letter I received from you two weeks ago
I noticed a comma in the middle of a phrase
It changed the meaning. Did you intend this?
One stroke and you’ve consumed my waking days

Wear your heart on your sleeve with this lace-edged asymmetrical shawl. Spectacular in gradient minis, this shawl is also suitable for tonal and moderately-variegated hand-dyed yarn.

Angelica is worked sideways from the small end. The lace edging has a handful of special stitches to create the well-defined heart, and should be achievable for intermediate knitters as well as ambitious beginners. The garter-stitch body has an I-cord edge for a polished finish.

This design is easily adapted to other weights and quantities of yarn—simply use an appropriately-sized needle, and stop knitting before you run out of yarn.

This pattern includes a chart for the lace edge; full written directions are also included.
