2 balls of bulky weight ladder ribbon yarn, 1.75 ounces, 115 yards each ball (50 grams, 105 meters each ball).

For flower pin: 1 ball each of 2 colors of 100% cotton medium yarn, solid colors, 5 ounces, 236 yards each ball (140 grams, 215 meters each ball).

Also sewing needle and thread, 1” (2.5 cm) pin back, 2.5” (6.5 cm) piece of black felt.

The cotton and ribbon yarn are held double for the construction of the hat. The flower pin can also be worn as a clothing accessory.
